Wow I’ve never heard of anyone using 100. I always thought snook were line shy. I’m not too experienced though. I remember years ago fishing the inlet and fishing 50 lb test and not getting touched and as soon as i dropped to 30 I start getting hits.

My question is, are these land lock ponds/lakes? If so, who is stocking them with Tarpon/snook? If some bozo is catching them from other places and putting them in from other bodies of water salt/brackish, then that is a violation in FWC rules, i live in florida as well...those species shouldnt be in freshwàter landlock lakes/Ponds...they will eat every bass,peacock bass,bluegill,etc. Until theres nothing else but them in those lakes...just like people putting snakeheads in lakes and ponds they are destroying everything...😮
